The Districts of Ferrara are three:

West DISTRICT

Municipalities of: Cento, Bondeno, Mirabello, Sant'Agostino, Poggiorenatico, Vigarano Mainarda.

DISTRICT Central-north

Municipalities of: Ferrara, Masi Torello, Voghiera, Copparo, Berra, Formigniana, Iolanda di Savoia, ro Ferrarese, Tresigallo.

South-East District

Municipalities of: Portomaggiore, Argenta, Codigoro, Ostellato, Comacchio, Goro, Lagosanto, Fiscaglia, Mesola.

 

For the principle of subsidiarity (art. 118 of the Constitution) the delivery of services is the responsibility of the territorial body closest to the citizen, therefore the Municipalities and, where applicable, their Unions.

THE MUNICIPALITIES: in the province of Ferrara there are 24 of them.

THE UNIONS:

The territorial unions that identify the services to be managed inter-municipally:

Union:Lands and Rivers: Copparo, Jolanda of Savoy, Tresigallo, Ro, Formignana, Berra.

Intermunicipal association:Este Lands: Masitorello, Ferrara, Voghiera.

Intermunicipal association: Upper Ferrarese: Bondeno, Sant'Agostino, Poggio Renatico, Cento, Mirabello, Vigarano Mainarda.

Union of the Delta: Goro, Fiscaglia, Codigoro, Mesola, Lagosanto, Comacchio.

Union: Valleys and Delights: Ostellato, Argenta, Portomaggiore.
